The pose is a LOT more fluid and the subtle rainbow gradients in the shading make me drool! Plus look at that mischievous face!!

I wanted to color this one for a long time and I'm quite satisfied with the result.
I didn't want to stress the color too much and I like these light/pastel colors.

wanted to practice shading(gradient mapping to be exact)
i failed at the first try then tried it again with another tutorial. it still looked gross then i painted over it to make it look better. i did learn that i need to work on my values and stuff a bit more 😔

I felt like experimenting with art and MS paint and it was a lot of fun to be honest ; v ;🌻
I hold artists in awe who use MS paint regularly – making a colour gradient was much harder than expected (!!using a ton of colours is the secret) but I’m quiet happy with the outcome~💛

in some sprites, like the skull, it's essentially treated as a single set piece and hand painted.

the walls are modular- a few different angles of gradients, etc.. they're manually palette swapped and flipped / rotated for variety and for angles of lighting.
