This is literally the first time Ive heard of Ibis Paint.

Anyways I use Krita, mainly cuz its free but also because of the range of default brushes I can use. Take this pic for example. Those sparkles come from a special stamp tool default to the program

Depends what you mean by painting really.

If I’m painting, I use the round something brush in the thick brushes (it’s the first on the list) but I don’t use lineart.

If you mean for like shading and stuff, I’ll go in and cell shade then blend out with the painterly blender.

i cannot remember the packs i got the brushes/textures from, but these are my favourites from my brush folder (i linked it as a google drive under this). there's a lot more in the folder including the oil 12 brush sleepy mentioned lol.
