2. You've created a path while directs the viewer's towards your main subject. The bottom image is simple and more defined. The top works as well but it ends to the gate instead of the building / fort (unless that was your initial intention).

Initially Capcom's management was against the idea of making it 8-bit, they thought it would be better to make it 3D because the 8-bit style would only appeal to Mega Man fans.

Pour ma part, tout ce qui contredit une oeuvre telle qu’elle a été partagée pour la 1ère fois, ça a le droit d’exister, mais ça ne sera jamais « l’original ». 🙂

Man, I made this design back in the summer of 2019, and I ended up not vibing with the character, but a lot of their aesthetics ended up in Phantasmagoria and Serendipity. I still really dig this initial design.
