no expert, but lighting doesn't make the subject super pale. It can make the majority of your skin lighter but not the shadows. (picture to the right adds purple shading)

I tried a new way of shadowing bc in my other pieces the contrast is always in the end result meh, but I think the shadows here also have big problems.
