‘Painting is a blind man’s profession. He paints not what he sees, but what he feels, what he tells himself about what he has seen’ - Picasso

More work to do still esp. the face. "Cubist Satoshi", Oil and wax on canvas, 140 x 110 cm. Inspired by Picasso's portrait of Ambroise Vollard (1910). Keeping the face more recognisable, less cubist. Touches of gold paint throughout.

Re-introducing Pablo Picasso's Blue Period from the time Picasso got extremely sad and started to draw a beggar and a boy a hecka lot among other things and if he had Twitter when he was starting out I'm pretty sure that he'd do the same

Stay amazing 😊
