Still brainstorming with redesigning mumakil. This head design clearly and heavily leaning more toward an African Elephant whilst still retaining the off putting base of the trunk and forehead, and the swigly texture of the trunk all the way down...

I always fall into a tough spot when designing background extras. I want extras to look interesting enough to avoid the "Hmmm... I wonder who the main character is-" but at the same time it hurts to waste such cool designs on character who get no lines and you'll never see again.
I'm actually designing some otome-themed badgets. Would you prefer them with just de drawing on it or should I add some patterns/quotes from the game?
I'll give you an example.
