As my current draft reaches its conclusion, there were many surprises. Many races of beings. From humans to elves to dwarves and giants. And in a twist of fate, even a dragon. It was a far more intense story than I expected. And I have no regrets. Only ideas for the next draft.

On a personal note, I colored One Year at Ellsmere during a time of intense grief when our foster child left our care. I'm proud of the work and was grateful to find something to meditate on, waiting to come alive again... I think of this page a lot.
