Uekawa (#1) won, but the design he put in was changed along the way. So if Oshima (#3) won, his design would have seen some changes too.

My first Sega Genesis game! And a pretty impressive port too, tho not as impressive as the insane Game Gear version. I love the sharper image for arcade ports like this personally.
PS2 Shinobi artwork were the aesthetic for its time. I would go for a remake with SEGA's RGG Studio taking the helm.
