Ok but….why does it feel like they got rid of so much personality in the trainers?
I’m sure customizing will be a thing, but they look more like ghibli kids than the Pokémon style

One of the things I like bout Pokémon for its unique art style,this took that step I was afraid they’d take one day and steer a bit away from the style with the trainer to go more realistic,and I don’t like it personally,hopefully Gen 9 Pokémon will still excite me

I glad they're giving both genders are getting the same outfit. I'm getting tired of the male trainers getting the same red/blue combo while the girls getting colorful outfits like it's fucking Mega Man.

Can't do humans to save my life but i tried to draw my pokemon trainer anyway.
His name is Tarrare he's 6'2" and he used to be a mainly dragon type trainer before falling through the rift.
I know the canon trainer is 15, but i thought it didn't ruin the story for him to be 30.
