Having aphasia can cause a lot of frustration due to being misunderstood, and not being able to communicate their thoughts. This can lead to arguments with family members, and may not be aware of their difficulties with understanding, or be aware of their own speech errors.
To celebrate #EmpathyDay I wanted to share these books with you, that support children's understanding of feelings and allow them to walk in other people's shoes. During these unusual times, it is important that we talk about feelings and these books are a great way to do so❤️
