Vega is actually vampiric dragon in disguise. He appears to others usually as viera, thinking he is more easily approachable that way. However I like to think they sometimes use au ra forms as well because of their scales and horns remind him of his actual self

!! We were tasked with updating the anatomy, elongating proportions and adjusting the scale of the head, making it taller and more ferocious. Ultimately this was a bit too close to the original jungle hunter design- but congrats to and all involved!
