I mean simplifying it all down to silhouettes, it's like super blatant that the second one is an iteration of the first. The main difference is the addition of the ahoge and removal of the ear things, everything else is just slightly translating the elements into something else

Also there’s been instances were they been stealing and or being heavily inspired by designs/story elements. Like literally, tell me this isn’t inspired in any way? But I guess handling this point is debatable since it’s such a grey area kinda like everything involving them.
