August vs December.
These last couple months have been quite the journey, and overall, that's what the entirety of 2021 has been for me. I stumbled around a lot in trying to figure out my path, it wasn't always easy, and I often questioned if I was even really going anywhere. [1]

Taisho Alice was the only visual novel series I played this year. The story was pretty great, including the overarching plot, and the romances were solid. Kaguya having only one correct choice path takes away points though.

Honestly, I don't think there's a proper 'best' thing in my year. If I look back, it's not so easy to think of something that stands out of the blur. It's as if I'm in a dark cave with a lantern: no great sights and a bit of fear, but also a reasonable cue for a path.
