@DTerryM It's an interesting question and BoF has a variety of skin tones to compare, but I don't know if I'd say CRTs are the reason. Likely just the way that we whitewash most media in the west. I think they used warmer tones knowing l the CRT would change Ryu to match the concept art.

The older games are also good but 3 and 4 are easily the top games of the series. 5 is a hit or miss with people. The story tends to be different like in DQ and Persona but some characters remain the same like Ryu (blue haired teen)

Have a little Ryu doodle I drew on the airplane trip home. Had a plan for it when I originally sketched the pose a few days before, but I kinda forgot what it was supposed to be for.
