I use these parts of an old commission just to write about how was beautiful and moving the ending of "Amphibia".

The scene of the aerial assault is particularly impressive. The animators had access to Disney movies of the 1940s, which are the only comparison in terms of storytelling and technique. But it's only rarely derivative, drawing heavily on domestic animation history.
And the animators succeed in making them feel totally believable. While the designs of the dinosaurs are no longer accurate, their movements and behaviors still make them feel like real animals. And the low camera angles give them a sense of truly massive, towering form.

Production wise, it was great to see a show with K-On! character designer! gave me it a real nostalgic feel to me plus they leave a lot of space to the animators to be creative and expressive with their faces
