Oh thanks for noticing!😁Yes, I like using previous works for adding color variety and texture. Also used Mega Chesnaught and Nihilego piece for this one too although they're more difficult to spot.

Procreate updated and added some new brushes so I wanted to test the marker brushes out. Nothing fancy, but I wanted to try and replicate how I colored stuff back when I did traditional art. I was always worried about running out of ink!!

for the question, sometimes I do use grayscale, but I don't use it to draw the details? I just use it to seperate different layers, like the layer close to you is darker something. then I just use soft brush to do the color. just like👇
