Karma didn't destroy the Lasting Altar, even in the cinematic. You can see her stand up after the mist was gone, parts of the Lasting Altar only got burnt, but it wasn't in shambles and is pretty much intact. I don't think she can destroy that place. It's deeply connected to her.

Though Phoenix has his serious moments and Yoru has his goofy ones. As we all know Yoru is obnoxious towards everyone and is really good at it. Meanwhile at Phoenix he is smiling both in the card and in the cinematic. Showing he is still fond of him no matter what.
