On the top-right side, the candle represents the isiZulu slang phrase my peers usually use, “Ukubamba Ikhandlela” which means “to hold a candle”, a metaphor for when someone is “third-wheeling” or awkwardly encountering a couple being romantic. Here’s my favourite meme :)

hyunjin drew the ice cream as if it has melted over his hand after holding it for a while, it fits the lyrics “melts in a flash I can’t pull myself together” I think he used it as a metaphor to show that sometimes we hold on to emotions for too long when we should really let go
