Just watched Bishounen Tanteidan. Whoa the graphics was godly high quality. I always loved how studio Shaft directing their cinematography, so aesthetic. Tbh I want to watch this show bcs Maaya Sakamoto & studio Shaft, and heck I just realized this one from author Nisio Isin (+)

Shaft did an amazing job. The voice acting, characters design, strangely captivating art, soundtracks and the unique cutscenes are all its strong points. The ending theme is also a banger. I honestly have never heard about this series so I am looking forward to it!

Pretty Boy Detective Club basically is exactly how it sounds- it's Nisiosin's take on Ouran hs. It's also got Shinbo on board, and if you don't know his style, it can only be described as 'A E S T H E T I C'. Shinbo directing, Studio Shaft producing. If you know, you know.

Pretty Boy Detective Club - the next Shaft/NisiOisin anime is here to fill the hole in me left by no animated Off Season yet - I read vol 1 of the LN and loved it, with the 'gatari team this could easily be AOTS.
