The first teaser image gives me "Iron Fist 2004" vibes, another story where Danny gave up on being Iron Fist for a while. I'm also reminded of the Chinese-first comic Sword Master, which is notable considering what appear to be shards of Lin Lie's sword alongside Danny's costume.

Well this is a technicality, but Tartan, Graham and Maclean have black energy/demonic overdrives, because they took the risk of having Kurohinite (Demon) shards body parts inserted into their vital body parts
