Finally, is back at it! Thank you all for waiting! This time, it's between the South African species Spiny Flower Mantis and the Bird of Paradise Flower! Their bodypaint draws inspiration from their traditions, I hope it looks good!

Saraswati and her Hamsa
From a Chitrakatha/Paithan series
Western Deccan , 1850-60

The mid 19th century Paithan paintings are one of the greatest folk art traditions in India. The colours and the composition in this painting shows complete mastery of the style.

16) Meal by and

Follows a young chef's passion and apprenticeship in insect cuisine. It also delves into politics that exist between sharing one's cultural memories through food and the commodification of food traditions for the (Western) mainstream.

Furthermore, it is my personal belief that the aesthetic decisions we make are remnants of a society which once understood this energy to mathematic precision. The instincts and traditions we carry are a blurry trace of what was once a carefully recorded guide for psychic energy.

“Come, Mother of Flowers, that we may honour thee with merry games" (Ovid)

The "Floralia" games around 1 May in ancient Rome to honour Flora, goddess of flowers, may well be one of of the origins of the medieval "Maying" traditions

69. Not a single dwarf had trouble with Fíli and Lamreth (Like his brother and uncle didn't date pointy ear folk first). And hey, he isn't that tall, for an elf.
More Lamreth's family didn't like the idea of Fíli, as this dwarf seems to be messing around with family's traditions

The finished pic of my newest furry OC’s, Caitlyn and Clayton.

She’s a grey cat, and he’s a Dobermann (full size, but he’s short). His ears are cropped in a “show cut” style according to old traditions his family still follows, which I have as part of the MusicPsycho world lore.

Temperance can commune with her Patron/G paw through fire. And he is always excited to talk to his grand baby, but always seems to sneak in trash talk his ex-son in law and the importance of good ol’ infernal traditions into the call.
