One of the most interesting and anatomically unique characters I’ve ever drawn! Had such a fun time working on this sketch!

changing mina up 🧡 i was really trying to stay anatomically correct when i first designed her but i think she needed more fullness in her "hair"! i like her better already.

So Spike shares the same anatomical trait of Ostachi with other Jaggweilers, and all of them are able to manipulate the stuff in some capacity. Spike stands out from most as due to his multiverse travelling exposes him to all sorts of things, he's able to mimic way more things https://t.co/os4LWsGcdH

...he's got his work cut out for him.

Said creature is Spike, he's known as a Jaggweiler. They have a unique anatomical trait where they have "Ostachi" fluid instead of bones, able to malform and shape into anything they can think of, which in Spike's case is a fair bit.

Not done, but I'm really proud of the colouring so far. I definitely made some anatomical mistakes but I'm still proud as heck so far.

Sorry I haven't been active, past couple days have been awful for me. OTL

"... otherworldly images that evoke internal anatomical constructs of tissue, membranes, valves and orifices. In each video, a wall of organic matter undulates, at times seductive or mesmerizing, sometimes quickly changing to a frantic or nervous tick.” - P.H.

Lucille does the challenge.

Spiders are very flexible.

And I'm done with the challenge. Thank you all for sticking around my anatomical study.

In 1685 Govard Bidloo published an anatomical atlas, "#Anatomia Hvmani Corporis". The book was later plagiarized by english surgeon William Cowper for his "#Anatomy of the Humane Bodies" (1698), which gave no credit to Bidloo.

Govard Bidloo (1649-1713) was a Dutch Golden Age anatomist, poet and playwright. In 1685 he published an anatomical atlas illustrated with 105 plates by Gerard de Lairesse, showing the human figure both in living attitudes and as dissected cadavers.

currently updating and renewing the ref for Arborria. With the new ref she looks more..... anatomically correct, and just overall better details. I will add those details soon!

Here is the time-lapse.

As you can see I changed her hand position because i felt it is not possible to do that anatomically.

I’ve spent 12 hours on this but there’s so much anatomically wrong I don’t want to finish it anymore :(

I will never be consistent, snout, no snout, cutesy thick legs and anatomically correct legs. 😔✨
