Last assignment of the semester! Paintings of a variety of tea flora (painted with tea!)

The primrose is taking shape in its surroundings. I've photographed soil and walls to get the character right. I'm making the limestone, moss, grass and any of the setting up using the photographs as a kind of loose reference.

Plants are always yearning to grow. They reach toward the light even way below a canopy of trees. We should all be more like the plants ☺️❤️☀️🌿

Thought I'd post one of my favourites for -that purple colour! AND you can eat it, it's the Wood Blewit. (Don't, however, eat the v similar and toxic Bruising Webcap. Be careful out there, foraging warriors.)
