Cryptid Collection 6/7: The Dover Demon gets its name from a sighting in Dover, Massachusetts. People believe this cryptid is a type of alien, due to its appearance. It switches between walking on all four legs and two legs, and has glowing eyes. I made it look amphibian.

in 1875, Captain Matthew Webb became the first known person to swim the English Channel.

Webb swam from Admiralty Pier at Dover to Calais.

It took him 21 hours and 40 minutes.

Although the Channel is 21 miles at its narrowest, Webb’s zig-zag course was nearly 40 miles.
