Not to worry, my questions were of his design.

For years we noticed he had 4 fingers. We were confused, as the other characters all had 5.
We assumed it was a reference to the yakuza, or inconsistency in art.

However your sketch earlier shows Sonic with 4. So it was an error?

The first thing I did was make one finger.
I copied it and lined it up, adjusting the size and angle.
Place one cube to make the palm of the hand.
Divide the polygons in that cube, making sure to connect them to the vertices of the fingers.
Connect the fingers.
