Topaz is effectively a young vocalist idol, albeit with a fairly localized popularity. A bit boastful and dumb, but still bubbly.

『推し、燃ゆ』の英題が"Idol, Burning"になったようだ。
確かに、Idolは崇拝、信仰的意味合いもあるから「推し」という言葉のニュアンスには遠くはないんだろうけど、Burningてのはどうなんだろ。
いずれにせよこの独特の日本文化が海外でどう受容されるのかは気になるね。
