well for starters i just use colors that are around here and use reddish and pale orange hues (mostly pink shades) and blend them together like dark - semi dark - light like the one i did on the neck and some white highlights

When I was a kid, my favourite graphic effect in games was when the lighting took on a reddish tint. I would always fly Flight Sim at night to get the cockpit glow, for example.

I think I like to draw warm lighting so much now because of this, it gives me a cozy yet eerie vibe.
