So as I said yesterday, I wanted to show some of the test work I'm doing whilst I figure out Clip Studio Paint. I've recently started reading Seraph of the end and omg help me. So I started to draw fanart of Yuichiro (Main boy) to get a feel for the tools. Nothing special tbh

A bit rushed, trying a different shading style with different tools. Wanted to include a bit more.

Scribbling, doodling and messing around with the animation tools. Limited to 24 frames for the moment, but pretty fun!

I decided to try Ross's hair tutorial a few days ago. 🍕🍕🍕I love the way he messes with curves in order to find these acid trippy color palettes. Of course, I was using Clip Studio Paint instead of Photoshop, so different tools.

I’m pleasantly surprised with Clip Studio Paint’s drawing tools. The “Real Pencil” pencil tool makes marks like a real pencil on paper. Best of all, my old license from Manga Studio 5 (2013) allowed me to use the new software without paying an upgrade fee!

So I tried - available in the Painting Kit deal at - and I love it! 💖💖

Tip: I couldn't see any sort of line smoothing options, so I did the inking in Clip Studio Paint. Everything else was done in Rebelle 3.

Next test: The seamless pattern tools... 👀👀

I had fun doing this also was a good way of practise simple backgrounds and checking all the tools.

Sharing my random doodles on the Sketch app using different stamps/tools. Some of these are pretty psychedelic. Flowers, leaves, bubbles and glitter, with my added enhancements. 😁 This is what happens when I am stuck in the house too long. 🤣
