I'm stupidly proud of the first one. I had never done shading this way before and it just came out wonderfully. the second is one of my more recent works and it just came out WAY better then I could have hoped for.

This 1659 cabinet, in the collection of the , is probably one of my all-time favourite 17th-century embroidered boxes. The stitching is impeccable and I'm so taken with the stripy shading. And look at those extremely charming faces!
