@TurquoiseMagpie I dont think my style has changed when it comes to sketch up to lineart... Its just that I have more freedom in digital when it comes to coloring since I always end up tweaking things coz of my poor sense of color theory...

In this finished peice, the background is very overdone. The halftoning and coloring is too similar to the character, making the pallate too samey and ubiquitous. The lighting is very simple but without the white accents the linart would easily become muddled and lost in the bg.

Also when the monster jumps Asha was meant to say "Holy fucking shit!" and I left in "Holy crap!" am I growing weaker? Should I put the original back?

@EntityofJustice @TheDaveKlein There's a lot that goes into conveying character and making movement feel right. I always think of puppet animation vs drawn for a similar comparison. There's nothing wrong with this animation, but it lacks life and feels generic. In a game where you walk, this would be boring.
