Quick time lapse of how I color eyes. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
The flash of darker colors at the end is me adding a gradient with the air brush to the shadow layer and then another one to the base layer just below where the shadow starts
@DeePeeArts 👋 open for commissions.... style is kinda Disney kinda comics. Full body person with simple back grounds (think gradients) for $65. Just depends on what your looking for. I take you step by step as I work so its not a complete mystery before you get it :)
@mariokarttourEN Monty's render is kind of a yellowish brown.. shading looks a little off too. His nose and teeth look like a gradient. Compared to Faedai, his render's just not the same quality.. he's simpler in design, but past renders of him have certainly "popped" more than this one.
Started playing Quiyana and shes the most fun champ I've played in years
Also tried gradients for shading which is waaaay harder to do with my program but damn it looks good tho 👀

#Quarantine #bordercollie #anthroart. After I solid color the bed and the wall on the left, I’m calling this one complete. (The circular area with a background gradient and interior shading is my new profile pic - see second image.)
@TrentKaniuga first project was a huge learning experience! Gradient Maps have brought my painting to a new level! Looking forward to my next kung-fu lesson. 🙏
I say simple... but galaxies are a pain to actually tattoo. I have the leave the space for the white while creating a smooth gradient, can’t just tattoo white over it 😤
man, i'm obsessed with gradient maps now, i've legit being doing this all by hand for years and you can just change it with a couple of clicks in an adjustment layer
this is the equivalent of finding out about the undo shortcut 5 years in
Inputs appreciated! If you look at his front hair, do you think I should go for a full painted gradient style or a simpler contrast style
スマブラ企画追加ファイター枠で、gradient君とshattered dream君で参加させていただきました!
とっても楽しかったです!ありがとうございました!!!!😆
This is before adding a highlight and gradient layer. I don’t do much on those final layers, but I feel they add a lot for my overall sense of depth. That being said, I wish I could be more comfortable with this simpler look.
Okay, this is how I would redesign Toucan Sam based on this and his past iterations. One, don't use gradients, they look tacky and distracting. Two, I took from this design and his 1960s design giving a more defined shape that doesn't have the weird mouth pasted on. https://t.co/22getfVqS5
Yesteday, I followed one of @bluefley 's tutorials and this is what I ended up doing.
I feel like I learnt a lot and really felt the power of the gradient maps workflow!

[Gradient Map]
- พึ่งค้นพบ Layer โหมด Correction layer ค่ะ
- ปรับภาพให้ดูมีสีสันมากขึ้น โดยใช้ Gradient Map
- ปรับโหมด Layer ตามชอบ เช่น Overlay
- ภาพที่เอามาลองเห็นไม่ค่อยชัด เลยลองอีกภาพค่ะ 🥺💦
- ได้ภาพ Finish สีสวยๆ แบบที่ไม่คิดว่าตัวเองลงได้
Gradient test
Basically me abusing the feather tool in procreate lol
