I edited one of my old requests that I drew for someone in 2019 with a slightly more intimate lighting. It's Akiza Izinski and Mai Valentine from YuGiOh. (Note: I am no longer taking requests at this time.)

In her painting notes, artist Ekaterina Neshkova, sketches in the image, lightly, then does the entire background, first. From there she plans the flower color and design. Very different way to go about a still life, but definitely works well!

Right after posting the Mermay Gadget thing I immediatelly noticed a ton of wrong so here's a slightly less wrong version

Another book from the unread book pile which I bought for the gorgeous Charles Vess illustrations.
Not a great format, the illustrations could of done with being printed slightly larger and on a slightly glossy paper. A nice matt paper stock is used, but it still mutes the art
