One thing i found i couldn't get down properly throughout the whole painting was the face and eyes. I struggled bringing definition and shading like @/toorurii does and she also makes the eyes pop out a lot more with high contrast colours.

Really need to get them digitized properly, with a light board and a macro lens and all. That's kind of the cool thing about analogue film, is that if a negative comes back underexposed, you can just blast more light and fix it up. Here's the red fox as a quick messy example.
