to do shading, i'll put a new layer in a solid colour overtop of everything else, pink is my fav. i then add shadows in a darker pink, and then turn that layer into an overlay + turn transparency down. normally i'll add a transparent solid blue overlay as well

It sucks. This has been my issue for over a year now. All I can suggest is finding ways to keep busy and filling the lonely void as best you can. Play multiplayer games with friends often. Find ways to talk to and connect with people. I'm sure your raid friends would be down.
