After some editing (actual work!) I returned to the P-40. Getting closer to right.

Oils handle differently than the “open” acrylics, but not so much that I am stymied. I am doing working with straight pigment…not yet really using linseed or other mediums.

This was the first collage I ever did. This is also done traditionally meaning paper, pen, Copic makers (I mainly do only digital now). It took me about three weeks to create, and my favorite thing I ever did in that medium.

I haven’t mentioned my garden sketchbook for a while because I haven’t worked on it in ages. Don’t worry though I have been recording which plants need to go on which page and I have taken plenty of reference photos of them all. The last plant to be added was an Epimedium flower.
