Started it during a depressive episode. As I began to recover, the song textures became more upbeat, but I decided not to alter the lyrics because that darkness is part of me and I accept it :)

This was the first version of the commission of Naiya Surfing in the eye of the wave AND MY GOD I LOVE HOW IT TURNS OUT!!🤟🔥 Like thank god I made it look dynamic enough and was able to get the water texture to look just right!😆👌☕

I spent a bit more time with this one exploring different texture brushes. Every piece is an opportunity to push myself a bit farther.

Since I paint most of my characters full body, I have the goal to get better at understanding key elements of subject a matter closer to the camera (textures, color nuances, intricate shapes, etc).
