It's probably unintentional, but interesting that NGE manga's final volume cover has a reincarnated Shinji standing in the middle of winter while in Shin Eva poster, we see a ghostly Shinji standing far away in summer daylight.

Colored a whole page before remembering my intention was that this sequence should be a night scene.
