I was searching for some references in Pinterest. Well obviously the second image is 17th Century but you get the gist.

I wanted a sort of creating a unit capable of countering the Ottoman Janissaries. Something befitting that of a 16th Century Macedonian Royal Guard.

Cethin was actually the one I had the most difficulty with designing.

I ended up looking up a lot of adventurer and elven references for him.

One of the things I did have settled was that... he needs a braid (and long hair!).

the animated shows are there if you'd like extra content of the characters and they have some neat mecha references
but i feel like its worth it to give the saturn game a try atleast cause its worth it experience on its own and youre not missing out on anything aswell

Same, i have an entire folder in my phone saved of F2U references i use to draw because i am terrible at anatomy from memory and there shouldn't be any shame in doing so. Doesn't have me convinced, think I'll stick with you 💕 (i haven't seen TOH, but i know you like it)
