Yeah, looks like you were right. It was too big. The canopy is one those things that gets tweaked all the way to the end because getting it to look good from all angles is tough. It's smaller now, a bit more curved, and more in line with the reference I have.

The previous hairstyle was a bit too basic and the belt going around her shoulders made no sense. Now, she's got less tight pants with pockets, and the belt is used as . . . well a belt. Also her boots have dirt on them too

The Harm Star, Flower Stalk (random encounter in an early map) and the Minute Star, Nine-Tattoed Dragon(s) (He has his importance).
While changes for Flower Stalk are sprite interpretations, I tweaked the other one to push the Fire-type and tattoo aspect more

After tweaking my artstyle here and there a lil I think I found an effortless solution to a clean, unique style. I may adjust things even more, depending on the mood of the picture. But for this time, I'm happy with the result.
