Noodle fingers are very common side occurence, so hacking of parts of the model and only applying the modifier and nothing else is my go to options to avoid it.

Managed to get my 7yo interested to the fact that 1/n --> 0 when n --> infinity based on infinite mom, babies and cookies. Thanks for finding a solution that doesn't require slicing babies (which was judged as something to definitely avoid by the 7yo).
