2018 vs 2022

Four years of digital art ✨

I'm so happy about the progress I made... Sometimes it is important to look back and see your improvement! ❤️

Toon shading off is so much better?

I don't see this as a bug. I see it as an improvement!

Of course you can! I also started drawing very late but it doesn't matter. Nothing makes me happier than digital art 🥰 Here is my improvement in two years, anyone can do it 💪

2018<2022 wip.
At the time, this was my best wip. I'm glad to see the improvement in my art now.

just wanted to put this out there! My improvement in ~5months

I took a big break from art to focus on finances and mental health. Goes to show that being in the right head space can really improve your skill :>

the old designs as a reference
they do serve as a good frame of reference for my improvement over the past year though, which is cool.
[ left: redesign I've used since october (i think) ]
[ right: original design from may 2021 ]

Both of these were quick, one evening draws that took the same amount of time. Left is 2021 right is exactly one year later in 2022.

Definitely feeling the improvements in speed which is nice.

I blame it on bad art direction more than improvement, before the tv show they animated a webseries which had like, actual style to them, executive meddling most likely led to the more generic style

Seriously, my top quality of life improvement this year comes from working no more night shifts!! Man, it's fun and exciting at first but so not worth it!! Yui approves of late night chill time too!!!!

ok I've been wanting to redo my sprite for a fuckin while now so probably time I actually got around to it

Still a little jank but I'd call it an improvement

Can't believe the improvement I have made this year, this is an early drawing from 2010 and a redraw I completed yesterday for an art challenge! Couldn't have done this without ,one of the best drawing apps out there.
