@YoDanno @YoDanno One of my faves! It's fun to compare them across editions... 2E, 3E, 4E, 5E. It's fun to compare the similarities (like how 1E, 2E, & 3E all have a shield) with the differences. Notably, I think they're tried to depict them as stronger & nastier vs. more fairytale-like.

For whatever reason copyright regarding cartoon characters is a topic I find interesting.
And something I often ponder is whether or not an incredibly obscure background character design is properly copyrighted.

It would be nice to break out some additional options of what Option C could look like. I agree that option C is the best looking of the three. A more simplified option C would help break away from the old but also not distract from gadgets and other attributes. Sample
