Edmund Rubbra 🇬🇧 (1901-1986)
Symphony No. 9 "Sinfonia Sacra"

Rubbra studied with Holst (whose Cotswolds Symphony is also in the cup). Rubbra's 9th, a choral symphony subtitled "The Resurrection", was inspired by Bramante's painting of the risen Christ.
