AI somehow looks like the same old drab, even if they're trying to copy us artists. AI will never ever be able to show the utmost creativity, care and years of experience that us human artists have. Sadly this is not always recognized.

Some ai programs are apparently getting trained by others to use art from other artists. You can type in "Anime girl in the style of (Artist name here)" and with some apps you can use a photo you've saved to tweak it with AI
