TALES FROM THE CRYPTKEEPER adapted many issues of the original EC horror comics. I was looking for one that had ALSO been adapted by the HBO series. Closest I found was from the Amicus VAULT OF HORROR film: Jack Davis' DRAWN AND QUARTERED. Here's a comparison from all 3 versions.

Playing Adastra is an exercise in sadness. Though it wasn’t the end, I wish for a lasting peace for Amicus and his love in the 8 years that remained. After much praying for the happiness they deserved, perhaps that alone was what could be hoped for from the beginning.
