it is a matter of practicing a lot with the default flat watercolor brush (opaque), fixing the lines with soft pen and fix the color and luminosity with Sai or clip studio
Ibis doesn't have decent blur pen like sai so watercolors are good for manually blurring colors

One of my pet peeves about Koikatsu's character creator is it really doesn't support hair in front of the body very well. Theres some options but they're limited and not great. Manual solutions are also difficult to work with.

I try to get as much detail in my artwork to allow it to be printed nice and big! This piece consists of over 100 rendered tiles which I have merged, blended with my own brushes then added manual artwork before finishing off in Lightroom.
