I was really disappointed to find out someone traced my illustration to draw a commssion work. They traced over my lynlumi illustration. I compared it side to side, the pose, face and even the shading was identical.

and i can tell for sure the turning point was this art of her for New Century. Like it's LITERALLY just the toei design in a different artstyle and yet it captures her feel so well and I think they know that too bc this art has been referenced so many times in other media too!!

what do I mean by this?: For a while (mid 00s-mid 10s) I think most non-adventure related digimon media used her bandai design as a point of reference for most things and while it has its own charm, the vibes just aren't the sameeee
