Update to this, lowered the saturation of the purple to be pretty much grey, made the blue lining on the cloak and hood more teal-green.

I think I like your overall color choices more! The saturation and darkness does lose a lot of Simon's detail, so pulling back a bit could help.

I also believe the top sketch might be her normal house dress, given the shape of the collar.
