I saw that #ComfortOcs was trending and honestly my boy Sam is that OC for me
I made him when I was living under my abusive mother and as I started to resolve my traumas, the traumas I projected onto him started be resolved too as a form of character growth. I love my angy boi🥺
I wanted to join in on the #ComfortOcs tag, because using one's characters to work through personal hurdles, traumas, and identity issues is something I think is important as a creator.
To that end, here's my main comfort character, Dimitri, who has served that purpose for me.
