Honestly i'm kinda tired of anime making Gabriel like some really caricature crazy ass villian. In LN he was presented as coldblooded, who enjoyed doing some really crazy things but withiout exaggerating to this facial expressions. Abec never draws him like this also.

I personally LOVE but I respect the opinion of those that don't like it. I do however think in an age where we are harsh on movies, tv & games we also need to police critic publications who seem to more and more be delving into sensational exaggeration.
